OFFLOAD Evening Concert
In the majestic surrounds of the Pro-Cathedral, join us for an evening of sound, music and visuals, including André Gonçalves (PT) ‘Resonant Objects’, an installation which uses sound as a medium to excite space in order to render audible its natural resonance. The LYSN ensemble’s
(NL/UK) atmospheric music improvised from scores of the traffic from the OFFLOAD website and event sites.
Virtuoso percussionist Joby Burgess plays a series of contemporary pieces on found objects including desk bells, fanta bottles, junk metals and car parts.
Sound engineer and musician Gavin Brockis will reconstruct a version of Steve Reich’s ‘Pendulum Music’. The night ends with Minimaforms visual ‘Smoke Signal’ exchange.
Tickets available in advance via Watershed Box Office and on the door £6/4.
