The Finnish Institute in London

The Finnish Institute in London is an expert organisation. Each year, it joins in more than a hundred projects in art, science and culture, and helps arrange or run events in the UK, the Republic of Ireland and Finland. On top of that, the Institute’s programme includes a number of international ventures.

The actual organisers of the projects and events are the Institute’s British, Irish and Finnish partners. The Institute largely acts as a catalyst, disseminates information, and creates contacts between professionals from different disciplines. The work of the Institute’s partners is hallmarked by a high level of professionalism.

The Finnish Institute in London began operations in 1991. It functions as a private trust, and its work is mainly funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education.

Polar Produce and the OFFLOAD team gratefully appreciate The Finnish Institute in London’s support in providing funds for the Finnish artists to attend and participate in OFFLOAD.
